Timothy E. Montgomery

In his role as CFO, Tim Montgomery draws on his more than 30 years of experience in global corporate finance, operations and business planning to set PHAZR’s strategic financial direction. He has been responsible for global financial management, development and implementation of financial strategies, capital structure and funding, developing and maintaining systems of accountability and control, financial reporting, planning and forecasting, revenue/margins, operations, cost control/reduction, capital spending, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures, investor relations, facilities, contracts/legal, risk management, IT and administrative resources management. Prior to joining PHAZR, Montgomery served as the CFO at: Adaptix, Inc., a 4G broadband wireless technology pioneer (acquired by Acacia Research Corporation); Photuris Inc., a provider of ROADM-based DWDM optical ADM systems (acquired by Mahi Networks, now Xtera Communications); and, AccessLan Communications Inc. (acquired by Advanced Fibre Communications, now Tellabs). Montgomery also has served as the Group CFO for the Systems Management Group at Sterling Software (acquired by Computer Associates). In addition, he has served in several senior financial roles, including vice president of corporate finance, vice president of the Access Products Group, vice president of the Transmission Products Group and senior director of international finance – all during his 10 years at Alcatel/DSC Communications (now Nokia).
