Umanath has over twenty years of experience in building end to end solutions in the areas of mobile and telecom networks, cloud computing , internet technologies, Enterprise and IP networks with expertise in technical leadership , product design, Architecture , System integration, Management and R&D areas targeting products and solutions for mobile carriers, enterprise and Networking infrastructure providers. As Vice President, Engineering and Operations in Indusface Telecom, he is responsible is for delivering Cloud based Voice, Video and messaging solutions and Carrier grade solutions in 4G/3G/GSM/CDMA technologies i.e Location Based services, OTA, Video and Voice Gateway platforms, Telephony and Video applications servers in for telecom operators in India. His entrepreneurship venture started with Sogno Systems, which he co-founded, delivering solutions in Mobile Networks and enterprise domains. Prior to Sogno, he was head of R&D in Mavenir India leading R&D teams for delivering solutions in IMS and GSM/CDMA networks. He was also head of Telecommunication Network Division (TND) in Samsung India Software Operations leading teams to develop network products in VOIP, IMS, UMTS/3G, GSM, CDMA, Soft switch, NGN, SS7 areas. Umanath started his career with C-DOT as Research Engineer developing Access Network Products for ISDN Networks. Umanath Holds Engineering Degree in Electronic and Communications from Nagarjuna University.
