Shadi received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in 2009. His research interests include digital communications, in particular next generation millimeter-wave wireless communication systems, as well as channel coding with emphasis on the design of LDPC codes and their decoders. Before joining PHAZR, he was a research engineer at Samsung Research America since 2009. He contributed to several standards and projects including 60GHz connectivity standards (Wireless Gigabit Alliance, IEEE 802.11ad, and IEEE 802.11ay) and 5G millimeter-wave mobile broadband system design and prototyping.
