Before joining PHAZR, Rich was a Senior Staff Engineer at ST Microelectronics, leading signal integrity,
power integrity, and physical design activities for a wide range system-on-chip ICs. His work has ranged
from the IC padring, package, to the PCB and system level. He has extensive experience in electrical
modeling and simulation, high speed signals, package and PCB design, and manufacturing.
From an early age Rich drove his family crazy taking things apart to see how they worked (and putting them back together). Today he specializes in designing and building things that work.
Rich earned a BS in Physics and an MS in Measurement and Control from Carnegie-Mellon University.
He has published numerous papers in IEEE and other journals, and holds 4 patents.
He is happily married, a Harley rider, a nature lover, and an Australia Zoo Wildlife Warrior.
