Prior to joining PHAZR, Hamid was a senior staff engineer in Texas Instruments from 2011 to 2016, where he joined the high performance analog business unit. He designed and implemented DSP algorithms for wideband highly integrated radio transceivers used in LTE base stations. Prior to joining TI, he worked in several companies: Icera Inc., where he was a principle design engineer in RF design team, AWARE Inc., where he was a senior design engineer in DSL modem design team developing DSP algorithms, and Nortel Networks where he was a member of technical staff in DSL IC design team. Hamid has been a member of several successful product design teams.
Hamid received his MSc in electrical engineering from the University of Windsor, Ontario. He has authored or co-authored over twenty peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. He currently holds four issued U.S. patents and has multiple patents pending
