Bob has a passion for all things wireless. Since earning his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, he has dedicated his professional career to taking the best ideas from wireless research and transferring them into the real world. Before PHAZR, Bob co-founded Kuma Signals, LLC in 2009, where he personally raised millions in funding to advance the capabilities of military communication systems.
Dr. Daniels’ background is in the theory of wireless communications and its practical application. He has been the sole designer and developer of several hardware-proven implementations for various standards including IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11p, IEEE 802.11n, and the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW). Bob is an expert on the design of millimeter-wave communications systems, has contributed to millimeter-wave wireless standards, and is the co-author of the textbook “Millimeter-wave Wireless Communications Systems” published by Prentice Hall.
